It is hard to replace a good container to cook and boil water with. So when you don’t have a canteen, primitive pottery is a must skill to have to make sure you food is cooked and your water safe to drink. Not to mention that making your own primitive pottery is an extremely rewarding skill to have. These skills can be used for functional purposes or for their artistic qualities. Containers in the wild are a must for cooking, carrying, and storing goods. After this course students will be proficient in making clay containers, vine baskets, bark containers, and more from items they can easily gather in the wild! Students will leave with first hand knowledge and experience in this important and rewarding skill set that will last them a lifetime. Come out and join us for this great learning opportunity!
