March 17-18
April 14-15
Difficulty: Level 2

In this trapping course, we will teach you everything you need to know to acquire protein in a survival situation.. We like to say that survival is  a lazy man’s game, because the goal is to expend less calories than you consume daily.  With this in mind, trapping will work for you while you’re sleeping or lounging around at camp. Hunting requires more activity which translates to more calories lost and more time away from other important tasks. Hunting is great but the best hunter will never out produce a great trapper! Your trap is hunting for you 24/7.

The great thing about these traps is that you can make them from what nature provides! We will also cover modern traps that are extremely effective and lightweight! You will have the chance to build a variety of survival traps to get meat and fish in the wilderness! We want to show you how to eat like a king in the woods!

You will learn
-At least 10 different types of primitive spring pole style snares
-Numerous deadfalls
-Modern trapping and the use of conibear traps, foot holds, and snares
-Tracking and the best place to put traps

-Bird trapping and fishing traps.
-Deer traps and how to catch larger game
